Here’s what you need to know about visiting our clinic during THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Appointments

  • Appointments are required for almost all office visits, with the exception of picking up contact lenses or therapeutics.

  • If you’re interested in new glasses, please book a complimentary consultation with one of our opticians in advance.

  • For anyone needing adjustments, please call ahead for availability.

Visiting our Office

  • All visitors are required to wear a medical mask. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you.

  • If you have any symptoms such as sore throat, cough or fever, or you have a family member who is confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19, please reschedule your visit.

  • Please adhere to 2M of social distancing from all other visitors and team members, unless medically required for your visit. We will be restricting the amount of clients in the office at one time.

  • All entrants will be asked to use one of several hand sanitizer stations or wash their hands upon entry into our clinic.

  • Do not bring friends/family to your appointment unless necessary (young children, guardian, caretaker, translator, etc.)

  • Our doctors will be wearing masks and other personal protective equipment during all exams and our disinfection processes meet or exceed local health authority guidelines.

  • One of our optometric assistants may call you in advance of your appointment to review your ocular and medical history in order to reduce the amount of time spent in the office.

  • If you try on a pair of frames, we’ll place them in a separate tray and sanitize them using our UV Sterilizer.

contact lens wear and covid-19

Are you concerned about contact lens wear and the coronavirus? Here's what you need to know:⁣

1.) There is currently no scientific evidence that contact lens wearers have an increased risk of contracting COVID-19 compared with glasses wearers.⁣
2.) Thorough handwashing and drying are essential, as well as properly wearing and caring for contact lenses.⁣
3.) No scientific evidence supports rumors that everyday glasses offer protection against COVID-19.⁣
4.) Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes with unwashed hands.⁣
5.) Contact lens wearers who are ill should temporarily revert to wearing glasses⁣
